Mission United-Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program

A funded program by United Way of Broward County

Mission United

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, led by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, is committed to addressing Veteran Homelessness on a national level. Specifically tailored to very low-income Veterans, SSVF delivers case management and supportive services to prevent the imminent loss of a Veteran’s residence or facilitate a smoother transition to a more suitable housing arrangement for both the individual and their family. Moreover, the program acts promptly to provide housing solutions for homeless Veterans and their families, ensuring they receive vital assistance without delay. Through our collective efforts, we are effectively meeting the unique needs of Veterans and their families, streamlining their access to essential services and resources via comprehensive case management services.
